Job Description: As a Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop Engineer, you will provide responsive, professional and competent technical support for Virtual Workplace environment systems based on Windows desktop and Windows server operating systems. You will join a fast growing Remote Infrastructure Management team cooperating with other teams from a wide wallet of RIM technology towers. You will have a chance to work on most up-to-date Citrix technologies and variety of supporting products and develop yourself further in RIM department.

Responsibilities:

To administrate, maintain and monitor XenApp, XenDesktop environments including tasks such as:
Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop Application Support for Citrix product software
Support configuration changes for Citrix Infrastructure
Monitoring health, stability and capacity of Citrix farms
Administration and support of XenServer hypervisor layer
Upgrading and extending infrastructures against customer needs or product lifecycle
Maintenance of Windows Server systems hosting multi session environments
Supporting build and patching process for XenApp/XenDesktop farms
Software release
PVS/MCS image management
Citrix policies management
User profile management
ITIL (Incident, Service Request, Change Management, Problem Management) activities – ensuring effective and efficient handling of tasks
To develop an understanding of the Customer’s environment and service requirements to enable successful delivery of the service
To follow established procedures, recommend improvements and resolve enquiries, issues or problems.
To take ownership if issues identified and tasks assigned with little supervision
To escalate issues as necessary to deliver required service level
To act as an effective and helpful member of the team, demonstrating personal leadership, initiative, drive and contributes technical experience and lessons learned in problem solving and continuous service improvement activities
To develop an understanding of the Customer’s environment and service requirements to enable successful delivery of the service and to establish working relationship with customer’s organization to deliver an excellent service

Skills required:

Good knowledge of Virtualization Technologies such as:
Citrix XenServer, XenApp, XenDesktop;
Good Proficiency in Verbal and Written English including Technical Vocabulary

Intermediate Knowledge of Server Operating Systems such as:
Windows Server 2008R2/2012R2/2016
